It is probably accurate in a purely technical sense because a higher percentage of younger people voted to remain and they are "educated" in the sense that about five times as many are in higher education than in 1970 when only the best went to university.

However, unless perhaps it is in a relevant subject like history or economics, how does education give them any more competence to judge the issues? A degree in media studies helps to make a sound judgement on EU membership in what way exactly?

Older voters are more educated in ways that matters, they have lived through decades and seen these wonderful unions that ignore realities of human nature and human society, like the Soviet Union or Yugoslavia, fail over and over again.
Media studies graduates may understand how Brexit threatens jobs in television programming. But I expect you already knew all about that anyway. Broadcasters Consider Ireland as a Location Post-Brexit | The Irish Film & Television Network

"Irish paper says Ireland could definitely be somewhere where people film stuff, now and again.."

You Remoaners are really starting to get on my tits; it was over a year ago FFS and as a nation we voted to leave the EU. I'd suggest dealing with it. All you lot can do is harbour bitter feelings and hunt out "news" stories with any anti-Brexit stance you can lay your eyes on and post in on here, where most sensible people don't really give a tulip any more cos we're busy getting on with our lives.

You can see plenty of facts (note, not stories) every day about how unemployment is down, productivity is up, SomeCo is investing in London or a new factory somewhere or whatever but do us Brexiters go posting them going "Told all you Remainers, everything is OK <smug>". Nope, We just carry on happy in the knowledge that Capitalism makes the world go round, and as a nation we've always been pretty good at that without the EU to hold bind our hands.

If this country is so tulip then I'm sure your energy would be better spent pursuing more lucrative opportunities in the EU or further afield, rather than posting tulip on message boards all day which only serve to reinforce the lingering stench of bitterness and the 'cup half empty' attitude that's systemic of the Remoan brigade.

Now, back to look for some non-Brexit threads.

So what do you think the impact of Brexit will be on the UK TV programme industry?

The same as it will be for the <insert the name of any other industry here> industry. From the lowest office temp to the top board members, people are inherently greedy and want to make more money. In realising that goal then their company enjoys growth, greater profits, increased capital etc. The EU is more of a braking force than a driving force in this respect (how long does it take them to agree a trade deal? e.g. India, 10+ years and counting.)

All this tulip about "We're moving 400 staff to Ireland, Frankfurt" etc. is just

Re-read my post. I could spend 20 minutes Googling perfectly true stories about growth, investment etc. But I don't need to.

Remoaners on the other hand, as I already stated, still feel this need after nearly 14 months.

                    That's what's confusing.

Your posts seem to be a bit hysterical as in "La la la, there's no bad news, it's ALL GOOD news, la la la and I'm going to label any real evidence, facts and figures as "ant-Brexit""
