    Many thanks!

Thanks to everyone (especially Craig!) for the help and excellent advice. Hope I can be as helpful to others - there must be something I can pass on after all these years...

Interesting for me since I like the idea of the LLP but I was shafted by one....

Basically the LLP had tax/NI on my behalf - at the time to pass to me to pass to HMRC, this was 2009 but I had three invoices from 2006/7 that were in dispute - not signed tho I had and still have signed timesheets, LLP manager said debt too old, Clinetco wont pay even tho within legal distress, and I as LLP member had to go chasing of course I got nowhere. Technically you are a self-employed partner (class 2 NI etc) so ho corporate to hide behind.

Cost me £14k in the end with penalties and I will name the LLP, Mods edit out if you feel, PM me if so, No Longer Ltd who became Crystal Umbrella, most costly mistake I ever made although I admit to some naivete. End result - i paid HMRC and NLL got away with doing nothing.

NLL just left it to me.

      Anyway, debt paid!
