It costs so much because they understand what it involves. The material prosperity of a nation is not an abiding possession; the deeds of its people are.

This isn't a fee to leave, it's a fee to close entirely. This includes your final salary, P45, closure of PAYE scheme, closure of VAT scheme, final closure accounts, submission to HMRC and closure of CT record, and final striking off at Companies House. We ensure the process is followed correctly so that HMRC don't object to the dissolution, and also offer advice on the most tax efficient method of withdrawing final money (capital, dividends, MVL etc).Originally posted by nchaud View PostThanks for all the replies guys - it seems simple enough that I'll go ahead and probably do it myself. I'm gonna be leaving SJD now anyway.
Also, I noticed InTouch charge £280 for closing down your company (Fixed Price Accounting for Contractors and Freelancers | Intouch Contractor Accounting) ! Anyone know why so much? What does this involve?Comment
