Leaving s58 aside for a moment, it's refreshing to see an MP's website give the philosophical background to their positions and use it as a portal for further learning.
I note he was marked out as one of the Tories 10 most rebellious MPs... is this man the exception to the oxymoron "a principled politician?"Comment

In laymans terms (I am of simple folk) what does this mean. If this is the last day of the committee stage of the Finance Bill, are we saying if the retrospective action stays in, is that GAME OVER do not pass go etc etcComment

Baker just raised a point saying he was keen to move things along to avoid NC1 being talked out. Someone else stated that it was the government's request to move NC4 before NC1.Comment
