Can i use a different Recruitment Agency? Just starting a new contract.

    Actually prefer the smaller agency’s to the large ones as they are normally easier to deal/negotiate with. Big ones have drone mentality of “we are big so you do it our way or it’s the highway”, and their way normally consists of taking your pants down and bending over. With smaller one/two man bands you are going to be dealing with the “boss”, thus someone who can and is generally willing to negotiate to get the deal done

    As someone said above the important thing is to get paid on time on invoicing and to make sure that “on time” as per the contract is not too much after invoicing. In your case, invoicing monthly, no more than two weeks, better 7 days or less. Do not, under any circumstances accept 30 days from monthly invoice, no matter what size the agency

      Doesn't mean your contract is IR35 proof as for example some call centre operators and permanent IT employees work from home.

      This means there could easily be terms in your contract which means you are under IR35.
