Not surprised. They used to put my security code as my middle name on all letters, took a couple of months to sort that out.

Barclays - Is this actually as much of an issue as I think it is?

Not surprised either. It took Barclays around 2 months just to open an account for me. I ended up getting it closed down because it took so long and started with HSBC.Comment

I'm thinking about switching all my accounts (business, personal and joint) over to either HSBC Premier or NatWest Private.
HSBC are better rates but the service with NatWest seems to be pretty good.
Does anyone have any experience with either of these as I am getting fed up with Barclays attitude to all of it.
