Recruitment agency won't pay until their client pays
No, same name as the stuff you spread your butter on in the morning - based near Old Street. Last contract took 5 weeks to get paid, after a lot of phone calls. After this I'm fairly unlikely to deal with them again.
Having an umbrella company complicates things. I can never see them doing more than invoicing the agency via email, they don't get paid enough. So getting them involved would seem like a bad idea. Not sure how the courts would see it, if it ever came to that.
