    Standard terms these days seems to be 5 days or 2 weeks, no reason required, so as long as they give you that they are in the clear. But check your contract, it might say something different.

      You may well have a case for breach of contract but I will be frank with you. You appear to be too muddled to do anything about it. If you need to take action over breach of contract (even if you appoint a solicitor) you need to be methodical, accurate and keep to relevant facts. I would recommend you to move on and put it down to life experience.
