HMRC don't know how many people in total would lose their homes but they do know it's a damn sight more than 57!!!!!!!!!!!!!Comment

For example, if your tax/nic liability for 2001/2 was £10000, then the interest would be approximately £4800.I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!Comment

I don't know if I'm in the majority or the minority. But I do know that there are an awful lot of people who can't afford to pay.
If everyone was in my position I wouldn't be fighting as hard. In different circumstances that could have been me.
Got divorced a few years ago so don't have a house to worry about.
So wish you luck with this...I'm out.Comment

DR, do you know how to arrange a CTD? Is there a link anywhere detailing how to do this? If so, could you put it on the first page?
I noticed there was an option on the gov gateway to 'pay on account' but this is different to a CTD methinks. And if we do win, I think them robbing buggars will be reluctant to pay money on account back.
Thanks.I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!Comment

Slightly unrelated question…
Can you take out a CTD now, to stop potential interest on a potential liability? Ie if your return is under query, but you haven’t received a Closure notice yet.
Almost like insurance against interest being added?Comment
