I submitted my tax return forms to you, June 2009 to take advantage of the cheaper rate and early completion of my tax returns. Why wait until now to complete my returns?!

I understand your circumstances and took that into account so will wait until end of March to see improvements.

    I will PM my details…
    Hi Mikey
Sorry not to have responded earlier in the day. I have been travelling most of the day. I have now replied to you personally and trust you are satisfied with the outcome.

    Thank you for your patience.

I sent mine in to my accountants (Nixon Williams) in June and had it back and filed by mid July, plus it was done as part of their fee.

Apparently, my tax return was completed many months ago but the Malta office did not inform the people in London. I did inquiry on the web portal but no one got back to me which is my main concern. However, all sorted now but not looking forward to paying the tax bill at the end of this month.

BFCA is going to discontinue their web portal and going assign each client with an accountant which is the correct direction to take in my opinion. With the office also based in London, I am going to stick with BCFA for now.

Sorry, I have to echo this.

Paid extra and submitted all my details to BFCA last august. BFCA not responding to helpdesk calls and I have no idea if my tax return has been submitted.

Not impressed. I cannot understand why they are leaving it all to the last minute.

            Hi helen7

We have been working on tax returns for many months. Once the main calculations have been made, they are reviewed by different members of staff, other than the person making the calculations, so they are all double checked.

We have literally hundreds in working process each completed on the basis of when we received the information, so as you can appreciate, if many people send information in as you did, we cannot instantly process all the returns at the same time.

If you can email me sally.fletcher@bfca.biz with your name, I can look into this for you.

To put our client minds at rest, unfortunately the closure of the Malta office led to teething problems here in our London office.

We now have a new team of staff dealing with the work which should have been completed by October, so we have been busy catching up with that.

The recent bad weather, also didn't help us as we had staff that could not get into the office, thus losing valuable day's of work at our busiest time of the year.

I am sure that the new team will provide an improved service as soon as the deadlines pass.

If you kindly email me personally your details to sally.fletcher@bfca.biz (this is outside of our service desk), I will ensure that your queries are dealt with next week.

As stated by MikeyW2288, we will at some stage stop using our service desk and use a method enabling us to provide a faster response. It would help us enormously if you please do not put tickets into the system asking for progress updates as this slows our work down.

              Many thanks
              Sally

BFCA Service very poor and no one home?

Has anyone managed to get through to the BFCA service desk lately. I have been trying for the last 2 days and it seems as if the number has been disconnected?

                    phones just ringing....

I've been trying to get in touch with someone for the past 10 days to no avail. I spoke to someone (Evelyn) and have had some email correspondence with her, but everything went dead about 10 days ago.

I've tried all the numbers Sally listed but they just ring.

I've been trying to get a set of accounts out of BFCA since October, eventually got a set of accounts based on incorrect data in Nov, and have been trying to get it corrected ever since. Problem is that I've spoken to about 5 different people and have had to start from the beginning every time (especially when the business moved from Malta to London).

All I want is an update (even if that is 'there's no update') and to hopefully get the accounts out of them before they become due!
