IIRC there was a case about a guy who was a supplier to Mars using their logo on his website without their permission. He was OK to use the words but not their trademarked logo.Originally posted by mace View PostOr if not, don't tell the former client what you're doing. I did once, and got a stroppy email about using their logo.Comment

Personally I just have the client name, as a link to their websiteOriginally posted by TheFaQQer View PostIIRC there was a case about a guy who was a supplier to Mars using their logo on his website without their permission. He was OK to use the words but not their trademarked logo.Comment

Are you marketing your skills or your past client
Why do you supply a past clients website?Originally posted by FarmerPalmer View PostPersonally I just have the client name, as a link to their website
What has ie Boots the chemist who sell pharma products got to do with your
IT skills unless their website mentions what a fab job you did for them.
Why would an agent or a client looking at your CV be interested in looking
at a past clients website?
I name the client ie BP so other oil companies know that I have worked in the
same sector.Comment

I develop the software that is inside the clients product, which they market from their site.Last edited by FarmerPalmer; 20 September 2009, 17:58.Comment
