Lets hope it goes our way....surely it must be positive news...otherwise HMRC woudl have arranged for the judgement to be at 1700hrs on a Friday afternoon so we would worry about it without beingable to contact MP for a whole weekend!!

At half past 9
FOR JUDGMENT
HAND DOWN
CO/10012/2008 The Queen on the application of Huitson v HM Revenue & Customs
Wow.
Not sure whether it concerns me or to be ecstatic!
Sounds to me its either getting pushed upstairs, ECJ.
Or it is so crystal to him, there is a clear cut winner he is not going to suggest an appeal for losing party.
Sleeping tablets tonight and IBS treatment the morning
Thanks for all of the updates, advice etc......
What ever the decision it has been great knowing I am not the only one. I have been a bit of a lurker but have posted before and done all of the letter writing etc.....
Good luck to us all and hopefully this will now all go away.......

I'm trying to work on a live server, I'm trying not to delete. A bit tricky to focus, so another timeout!
I don't know what to think, except that if he has accepted HMRCs argument, the ramifications of it are far and wide. It would need very careful and I hope, prolonged, consideration. I can't believe he would be able to just say that he believes the revenue are right, without any guidance for future case law. He must believe that there is an established legal precedent. Did we ever get clarification as to whether or not he said Padmore did not apply?
Jesus, how quick ? Not sure if this is good or bad ?
I'll be on the bottle tonight to help sleep and maybe tomorrow night depending upon the outcome. Well, irrespective of the outcome, I'll be on the sauce.
