Well done everyone so far.
P.S. Added a very important point to the first post:
The DPA request provides a record of your file at this current moment in time, so the Revenue cannot add anything that has been backdated and claim it was always there. If I had thought of this before, I would have done it a lot earlier. Then I wouldnt have received a "backdated" enquiry letter into a closed tax return.'Orwell's 1984 was supposed to be a warning, not an instruction manual'. -

1,150 views and only 21 DPA requests!Originally posted by DonkeyRhubarb View PostOnly 20?
Doesn't anyone else want to know what HMRC have on them?
I guess HMRC must be counting on the apathy of the majority of contractors
I couldnt have made it easier for the "armchair activist"
, with a weblink and form (in the first post) that takes 2 minutes to complete!

Any lurkers made DPA requests?
If you have made a DPA request but can't vote in the Poll, do you want to drop me a line at bn66_letter@hotmail.co.uk.
I will then report back on how many requests have been submitted.
Thanks

Of course, even HMRC wouldn't stoop so low as to do something retrospectively, would they?Originally posted by SantaClaus View PostThe DPA request provides a record of your file at this current moment in time, so the Revenue cannot add anything that has been backdated and claim it was always there.
