I have tinkered with it but not to any great extent, and it seems dog slow on the "Family" Vista PC. YMMV

This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious as to just how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so ordinary and plain that you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is highly unusual though. Study it and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out. Try to do so without any coaching!

I downloaded and tried it. Didn't like it. It was so slow I gave up long before actually doing anything useful. Personally I use Quick Books pro 2004. Seems to do everything I've ever needed, though if you are on the flat rate vat scheme it'll be a bit klunky.

        Solar Accounts

I have recently made the change to Solar Accounts which i found to be ideal for my requirements. It allows me to raise invoices etc, copes with VAT Flat rate and is very intuitive to use.

you can download a 30 day trial from http://www.solaraccounts.co.uk/

            promotion

ok, So now everyone is promoting some accounting software

Is this allowed on this website?

you should describe your experience with some software not just copy/paste some ad's and links
