Call me picky but NW do have a monthly expenses and mileage spreadsheet you need to complete, do they not?
We offer a simple spreadsheet to record your expenses, but you can use your own if you wish, or perhaps not claim expenses! There is no complusion to use this but most of our clients do as they find it easy.
They're good but they're not perfect. You may have to push to get things done in the first few months and to get all the info you need but they're approachable and helpful on the phone. The management are always available too so I'd say go with em but make sure you know what a limited entails. It's not as hands-off as a brolly.
Don't want to sound rude, but this almost sounds like free advertising for NW. Can I assume that you don't work for them?
I have no idea who the poster is, as far as I am aware they are genuine.
I can understand you may be cynical but the posting has nothing to do with us. I am the only person from Nixon Williams to post on here and we do not use false identities to promote our services.

So we're not perfect! I would never claim that we are perfect, but I am not aware that we need "pushing" in the first few months, some delays are out of our hands such as VAT applications etc, although this is much better now. Last year, there were some delays with VAT, bank accounts etc due to the fall out from MSC's.

Sorry if it sounded like an advert, it is a copy paste from their brochure so sounds like an ad. I just wanted opinions from you guys if these services are worth the money and what I would need if going limited. Another purpose was that people here could point me in right direction if their package is missing something and I need to look elsewhere. This helped some people here in helping me when they pointed out some important things. (Insurance, Bank and Spreadsheet)
Thank you all
-- EDIT --
Now I have removed the list of their services which somebody might think is advert. Can you please remove it from your quote as well?

Believe me, if someone is spamming on these boards they soon get mobbed.
There are a number of accountants who seem to have the hearts and minds of the members here and they get support when required. We do have our moments and there are arguments, but these guys have worked hard to build up a rep amongst us.
I use Darren at Upton (formaly 1st Accountancy), but other regulars use Nixon Williams and SJD. I think there are others who get th ethumbs up too. There are a few who have had bad experiences with 1 or more of the above list, but it is mostly positive feedback.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Alan
I hear what you are saying Alan... I just find it odd that someone is listing all the benefits of your sevices in the way that has been done. If the OP has nothing to do with you, then fair enough. I remember when I first joined this forum, some regulars would jump on people who name drop companies.
If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Users with 6 posts to their name, all today making a huge deal out of an accountant who frequents the board, followed up by a huge comprehensive sales pitch from them.
