If you are enhancing existing skills (e.g. latest version of Oracle or Java), new techniques for a certain programming language) then it is an allowable business expense. If you are aquiring new skills (i.e. re-training) it is not allowable.
Its a little different as I am logistics but I'll say that as long as anything I purchase for training is "logistics" based. Then I think I am fine. If I book myself on a carpentry course or flower arranging seminar then that is probably not OK.Comment
