Anyone still use Intouch Accounting?

Interested to know if anyone still uses InTouch Accounting? And whether you are using them to prepare final accounts for company closure?

I have been with them for about the last 7 years. The first 2 or 3 years they were very good. After that, each year they have got progressively worse (mistakes, no reply to emails, not able to speak or contact actual accountant and instead get random other people). I'm currently in the process of closing my ltd company. I mistakenly decided to stay with InTouch and let them do my final accounts, after looking for alternative accountants, when they assured me they would prioritise my final accounts and get them done within 6-10 weeks max. After 13 weeks, I am still waiting and all I get is they will be done "soon".

It's sad to see how far the service has deteriorated. I really am surprised that they can still be in business.

I'm sorry to hear that you've not received those final accounts in the timescale provided. I'm happy to have an open conversation with you about this and why this timescale has been delayed, but also to look at getting these completed ASAP.

I have PM'd you my details. I would be interested to know the reason why they have been delayed after I was repeatedly promised they would be done in 6-10 weeks. The latest promise was that they would be sent to me last week. Still nothing. I know I'm not the only person experiencing this as I have read similar experiences from others on here with InTouch.

Was it a reasonable explanation?

I've been with InTouch for about 6 years. Never had any major problems or delays; contract reviews and queries have always been turned around quickly, by my "personal accountant" or whoever is covering while they are on holiday.
I should imagine that InTouch, like most Contractor accountants, have been snowed under with company closures recently.

I have also had problems with my Intouch service this year, I notice the reduction in service when I went to non-trading service and also around that time I was in discussions around potentially going dormant......
