Agency want a UTR number entering into their timesheet portal

I guess I enter the one for my company?? (you know, the entity they have a contract with) Or just don't enter it at all? I don't see what business they have with my personal UTR, especially as they already have my NI number.

No. I suspect they'll tell me to enter my personal UTR though...

        New (ish) reporting regs, right?

Reporting regs don't require a UTR.

Make one up. An NI number is all they need.

Thank you - this was their justification for asking. I'll just keep ignoring the prompt when I go into the timesheet portal.

The only circumstance they might need it is if you are Inside IR35 and they are making a deducted payment to you.

I have a hunch we may use the same agency.

Just ignore the prompts, I've been doing it for a year.
