As I mentioned above the umbrella company suggested an IR35 specialist company who could do the review for me. They would charge £155 plus VAT for this. Does this sound reasonable? If yes I just go ahead and have my situation reviewed.

I read a few pages on this site and it looks like I will go ahead with the limited company regardless I am inside or outside as it looks like even if I am inside the take home amount would be a little bit more than going through an umbrella.
In my opinion IR35 reviews are a complete waste of time, I have used different reviewers on EXACTLY THE SAME CONTRACT and both reviewers came back with COMPLETELY OPPOSITE CONCLUSIONS.

If you have to do this type of thing you might want to know that QDOS offer help with rewording the contract, stating what clauses should be removed and what clauses should be included in order to help you gain a pass on IR35. They also offer insurance in case of a HMRC investigation so you are fully covered.
