This being the case, i'd be expecting this to be thrown in free of charge by your accountant (we would) because it will take no time at all and probably easier/quicker than trying to help you complete the return yourself.

    Hi Martin,

    Yea that is exactly what it entails - so like you I am a little surprised it isn't being included - but seeing as many people who fall into the higher-rate bracket have to complete a return just like this, I doubt many of them call in the accountant so feel it is something I can complete myself.

    Your offer of a sanity check is much appreciated, if I have any further concerns once I have completed the whole form, then I may take you up on that offer
