Business bank account with Metro Bank

I thought it would be useful to share my experience with Metro Bank for many new contractors struggling to open a business bank account.

I really struggled to open a business account with HSBC, Natwest, Santander when I started contracting as a limited company last month. The process for these banks are so long that I missed my agency payment date.

Then I went to Metro Bank last week to explore if they can open a business bank account for me quickly. Surprisignly, I managed to open the business bank account in under 2 hours. I also managed to get debit card and check book straight away printed in the branch. The service in the Holborn branch is so impressive that I still wonder why it takes so long for other banks?
