      Still better than it's predecessor a Panasonic which hung up whilst updating it's firmware. Even the panasonic supplied cam to stuff in basic firmware couldn't.

      But to answer your question, no. I was watching it on analog - albeit on a telly with a inbuilt digital tuner. Also it's 100hz so there is always at least some mangling going on.
