I've noticed this is the new trend of 2009. Would someone care to explain?

What does "meh" mean?
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.” -

It sounds like the noise a sheep makes.

It's the mating call of a labour politician. Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - EpicurusComment

Never heard of it used like that. I'm too middle-aged probably.
To me, the sound "meh" would be "mare" as in Nightmare.
"This project is becoming a right mare" (Nightmare)
In fact, my bank balance is becoming a right mare and I'll probably call the bank about it and they'll say 'meh'Comment
