Originally posted by CheeseSlice View PostDiscrimination in employment law must be a complex area, and I imagine there are loopholes in exceptional cases.
E.g. in TV and acting, they might have some loophole to ensure that prominent white characters are not played by dark skinned actors, and conversely prominent black characters played by 'blacked up' white people.
I think it would be more controversial to see a white man 'blacked up', than it would be to rule them out of the casting based on their colour.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

I always thought Olivier looked rubbish as Othello. Ok in opera but obviously wrong people in historical plays ruins them whichever way round it is. Don't mention Merlin.bloggoth

Can I just say how disappointed I am in some peoples attitude towards this activity.
It appears that wanting local born resources in preference to imported labour is perceived by some as shameful, also the extrapolation by some posters shows just how PC this country has become
A sad reflection on our broken nation, I shall be monitoring those posters subsequent comments on "Bobs" for any hypocrisyHow fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't thinkComment
