Certainly the worst, true, but some others are hardly much better. Malaysia? If you are a non Muslim you are ok unless you are in a conflict with a Muslim. If you married one and want custody of the kids, even though you may be the more suitable parent, forget it. That is what moderation and tolerance in many Islamic countries is about, you are fine as long as you practice your own views very quietly and don't expect completely equal treatment under the law.[saudis] are theocratic maniacs, and not role models for decent societies
Try reading any defence of Islamic tolerance by a prominent Muslim writer. It isn't what most of us would mean by it, complete freedom to choose your own faith, run your own private life and have the same rights as anyone else. It most certainly is not what they demand from us.bloggoth

Malaysia is certainly not a liberal democracy, but in terms of tolerance for religious diversity is pretty good for a developing country.Originally posted by xoggoth View PostCertainly the worst, true, but some others are hardly much better. Don't get me wrong, I have no more (or less) time for Islam than I do for any other religion, but singling them out leads down an unpleasant path to destination unknown.Comment

I think at least some modern historians acknowledge that appeasement bought us time to prepare without which we would have been totally ****ed.Originally posted by markinbrussels View PostIt's a pity the left-wing appeasers can't learn a damn thing.

So basically your job is to hit all the forums and message boards and newspaper comment boards you troll with copy and pasted statements from Nick G? Brill. How do I get that job? Or better, how does a single mother on benefits get that job!Originally posted by markinbrussels View PostIt's a pity the left-wing appeasers can't learn a damn thing.
