Very few of us support insane US actions in Iraq etc Clippy - US foreign policy since WW2 has a lot to do with the problems we have now. One can hardly blame the Iranians for hating us and the Yanks, say. I would have.
But defending unreasonable action x because the other side did y is hardly going to advance things. We all need to stop imposing our cultures on everyone else, whether by invasion or immigration. A national identity and a culture one can relate to is a positive thing and in every other context, apart from when it's western culture obviously, this is recognised.bloggoth
