No. Britons who think Americans are stupid are stupid.

Barack Obama (aka Barry Soetoro) is a dodgy character. There is reasonable evidence to suspect he's still, formally, a Muslim:

1. his father was a Kenyan Muslim
2. his middle name is Hussein, which sound more Muslim to me than Rupert or Gordon
3. the fact that that he was born to a line of Muslim males makes him born a Muslim, like once a Jew always a Jew
4. Obama's conversion to another faith, in short, makes him a murtadd, or apostate. Apostasy in Islam entails the death penalty as Muslims have NO RIGHT TO CHANGE RELIGION

So, the fact that only 20pc of Americans think he's a Muslim is surprising. Giving the facts, I would have expected higher figures.

I actually think the New Yorkers have acted fairly well up till now, if there was 3000 people killed in any of the major capitals of Europe and they tried to build a mosque 200 yards away from the site there would have been riots and murders by now.

That's EXACTLY the point. Building a victory mosque in GZ is adding insult to injury.

The followers of Prophet Mohammad (piss be upon him) not only kill us. They now want to teach us tolerance, LOL.

So if they want to build bridges, promote understanding, blah blah blah, build then the mosque in Riyadh or Mecca, not NYC.

Very few of us support insane US actions in Iraq etc Clippy - US foreign policy since WW2 has a lot to do with the problems we have now. One can hardly blame the Iranians for hating us and the Yanks, say. I would have.

But defending unreasonable action x because the other side did y is hardly going to advance things. We all need to stop imposing our cultures on everyone else, whether by invasion or immigration. A national identity and a culture one can relate to is a positive thing and in every other context, apart from when it's western culture obviously, this is recognised.
