I'm waiting for feedback on my second interview yesterday. Not much fun is it?
Ah well, if it's meant to be, it will be.
Well a 2nd interview has to be a good sign?!!
Were there more people called back or just you?
Ah good luck mate x x x x
Just me. They wanted to gauge my reaction to a staff role(Technical Manager). I had to tell them how much I wanted by this morning. Just waiting for feedback now...
Good luck to you too XXX

It's a good job we've all got thick skin eh?
Not everyones cut out for this contracting world - it gets a little tense at times!!![]()

I quite like doing interviews. I like all the preparation, the wearing of my immaculate suit, and all the detailed travel arrangements. I often drive to interviews in central London to reduce my stress levels (I know this may sound strange to some people!) All in all it can be a good day out.
I used to covet my 100% interview success rate, but then after some failures I realised you simply cannot get a result at every interview. Even if you are the perfect candidate and give great answers to every question, you are certain at some point to encounter some serious professional knob jockeys who will take exception to you. Just get over it.

What I heard.
Miaow miaow miaow miaow miaow miaow, miaow miaow miaow miaow miaow miaow miaow miaow miaow, miaow miaow miaow miaow miaow miaow miaow miaow miaow, miaow miaow miaow miaow miaow miaow miaow miaow miaow.

I had a bad one recently - was more upset I'd weakened my good interview : offer ratio than anything else.
I almost walked before the interview began - they kept me waiting for 25min.
The lead interviewer was a proper snotty little polo-neck-wearing-tarquin. They specified clearly in the JD they wanted someone to come in, set up a department and set up the methodology, processes etc. So I played to that.
Feedback was I'd obviously worked in a very highly structured environment and was used to that, even though I ran through times when that clearly wasn't the case, and I'd set up working structures from scratch.
The long and the short of it is that after only a short time in the interview I felt like reaching over the table and lamping this jumped-up cretin - so it's probably for the best I don't get to spend any more time with him.
Oh, and trick questions... <insert expletive here>![]()
