I had a really bad interview back in Feb, half way through speaking the head of IT guy interupted me and said "can you hurry it up a bit please"...

I was quite astonished at this, looking back I should have closed my file and said ok lets speed it up considerably.. instead I saw out the interview.

As it turns out I ended up speaking to some guy on my last gig who had worked with the 2 guys who interviewed me, he confirmed my suspicion that they were both total and utter nob jockeys and that I'd been lucky not to end up there.. he said the staff turnover had been quite considerable.

At the end of the day just remember an interview is a 2 way process, it can also help you realise that it's not the place you want to be working, or people you want to be with.

I dont feel mine went well yesterday.

When I got there my hair was all ove the place (hot train followed by London rain), I was completely daunted by ther level of security and poshness of the venue, one of the interviewers really glared at me the whole time - never smiled once, and they properly grilled me!

I dont think I sold myself well enough at all

      Interview fail!

Edit: PS - great bag though!
You should have hit them with your bag.

Bad luck SA - but remember that most people are really bad interviewers and are uncomfortable doing it. You may have done better than you think

            Thanks Zippy,

            I can't see it though.

I know I could p1ss the job with my eyes closed, and do a fantastic job of it, but I just didn't sell myself well enough.

            Sometimes you just know.

Never mind - onwards and upwards and all that!

I'm waiting for feedback on my second interview yesterday. Not much fun is it?

Ah well, if it's meant to be, it will be.
