Leaving

No religious tax for me - I'm registered as "without confession", since I'm neither Catholic nor Reformed.
The tax and social insurance + health insurance combined still accounts for only around 25% of deductions.

still no compensation for living with the pucker mouthed, analy retentive, presbyterian clones that comprise most of the population.
but, still, you obviously feel comfortable there, so fill yer boots.
:D

yeah and another reason why life is much better in the UK and nobody should leave is that my mum and dad, my dad as a retired civil servant has a satisfactory index linked pension underwritten by you lot paying your fair dues

so, let's hold off with this leaving talk and remember how great life in the UK is, it's about the small things, and family

Milan.

Just about every serious business owner and entrepreneur I know is leaving Britain, has left Britain or is planning to leave sometime soon.

The schools are losing good teachers and getting hard-left activist replacements with little interest in student welfare.

Crime is just way out of control, and I worry every time my children are out of the house without me.

Tax keeps going up, the cost of living keeps going up, and incomes are flat.

The future here is looking grim.

both of them??

In deepest darkest Gloucestershire - right.

Hyperbole, much?

Possibly more worried that the children will discover that there is a whole world outside their house where the majority of people want to get along with each other and don't judge people based on old prejudices.
