For the past 20 years, millionaires have been consistently leaving the country. But new ones are being created as well, so overall, even with the tax reforms, the number of millionaires in the country (adjusting for inflation) has been increasing. The only blips are 2024 and 2012.
If we are talking about the UK - How many of those are property millionaires that did nothing other than walk to the kitchen for a cuppa and a garibaldi whilst watching the population graph blow up and the house building evaporate.

We need real millionaires created through risk, reward and hard work, that is the sign of a healthy democratic capitalist society.

I edited my post for clarity. Yes, the UK.

In 2023, they said the millionaires were leaving as a result of Brexit. In 2024 they re-wrote their stories to say the same people were leaving because of the Labour government.
I wonder is the reason for Henley's study something to do with them being a company that deals in golden passports?

Even the Reformograph claims the figure is nowhere near 16,500, their figure puts it at about 11,600.
That's out of about 3,000,000 millionaires in the country.
And given the number leaving, I suspect they were non-dom tax avoiders in the first place, so no big loss.

Plenty of UK media sources for that, and if you were a British taxpayer, you'd have chosen one of them, rather than trying to find a foreign source that says what you want to believe.

I think it's fair to say this TwoWolves has had happen what many have had happen. They've lost the ability to distinguish between valid online peer reviewed websites and have just went along the "it's online so it's a valid viewpoint" route.

Yes, the website they posted is clearly a joke. I'm surprised they were not embarrassed to even post the link.
