Fair enough - the folks in Porsche Bolton were very nice; not as impressed with the ones in East London apart from the sales guy, who generally have to be nice to you anyway.Originally posted by bobspud View PostNo just suggesting that all the prestige car showrooms Porche BMW and Mercedes alike are frequented by the same sad kinds of twunt. The Porsche HQ Reading was hilarious if you rate customer service but then I also saw what they were putting up with as clients. Like WFTF I also shrugged and walked out.
Enjoy your TVR it will be a blast until it breaks, leaks or throws you in a ditch for no apparent reason. All of which seem to be a standard thing with them.
Already dismissed a TVR - too much of a liability if I want a fun car at weekends. Cayman S, AMG version of the SLK, SL all in the frame. Any other suggestions for something with a fair bit of poke but fun to drive (apart from AndyW's mum)? The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't existComment

Having now got myself back to 6 points Im having a real crisis of conscience when it comes to the pumped up beasts as 300BHP in my experience has been far too much for the road.Originally posted by LondonManc View PostFair enough - the folks in Porsche Bolton were very nice; not as impressed with the ones in East London apart from the sales guy, who generally have to be nice to you anyway.

BottlerOriginally posted by LondonManc View PostAn A-class Porsche you say? Rather than pretending you're Donald Trump, you're just pretending to know what you're talking about.
Thanks chaps, that's convinced me not to get a TVR.
Although, the mutual person you and me know LM who only drove one once, or twice, did lose control of a hired one
