If she ends up out of work she will go and live with one of them. In fact some young people end up being one of their grandparents' carers because of this.
Lots of people don't have pensions before they hit their late 20s. Not ideal but due to the sort of work they got there wasn't a pension scheme to pay into. Plus you are actually advised by the more realistic pensions advisers that if you are on a low wage don't bother saving for a pension."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

If she comes back has no job and ends up being a carer for one of her relations then she is contributing.
She is also saving the taxpayer thousands.
You seem to have a very fixed view on life. If people do things that are different to you it's wrong."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

What is with the gardening thing? I've never gardened a day in my life. I'm a little young for that in my mid-thirties and anyway I have a gardener who does it for me.The Chunt of Chunts.Comment

Saving the taxpayer thousands is a valid way of contributing. However I don't remember the article saying she was going to become a carer like that and we can only have a reasoned and informed debate on the information presented rather than speculation.Have you tried switching it off and back on again??Comment

It's called "society" so YOU won't be supporting anyone WE will and I don't care how people got where they are, just if they need my help. If someone's asking me for a handout I figure they've sacrificed enough pride without me asking them to justify why I should give it to them.Comment

It's interesting to see you don't care how people got where they are and would be willing to help them regardless. So if I decided to sell my house, bought a Bugatti Veyron with the cash but didn't bother to insure it then stuffed it into a hedge and wrote it off you'd be happy with me asking you to pay my rent and buy my food because I didn't have any money left?
I'd tell me to s*d off because I was an irresponsible idiot.Have you tried switching it off and back on again??Comment
