I'd gladly take you up on that if I can save us both the time by checking it's likely to be compatible... do you know the specs?Originally posted by SimonMac View Postd000hg I have just taken 4gb of memory out of my MacBook Pro as I have upgraded to 8gb, if you pay the postage you can have it for nothing.
On Crucial, they say I need 204-pin SODIMM DDR3 which runs at 1.5V (they mention PC3-8500). Any idea what yours is? If it might be compatible I'm happy to try it and if no good, sell it and send you/donate to charity the proceeds minus my postage.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Where did you get the screwdriver from?Originally posted by Sysman View PostBTDT, got the T shirt.
Except I bought the memory on a Saturday afternoon so had to wait until the Monday to acquire the small screwdriver."I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."

This is what i bought: All-Purpose Screwdriver Bit Set 100Pc | Screwfix.com but i needed the torque set to take apart my PS3 to replace the drive...Originally posted by cojak View PostWhere did you get the screwdriver from?
B&Q do a set of "technical" screwdrivers for under a £5 which are perfect and you dont need to source the remainder of the screwdriver to use the bits above.I didn't say it was your ******* fault, I said I was blaming you!Comment

Erm, yes honest. New memory was delivered to the office and installed straight away, old modules were stuck in a drawerOriginally posted by d000hg View PostIt is your Mac you're taking it out of, right?

That sounds virtually identical. If you're still up for it you can PM me or email <myhandle> on gmail. For the sake of £3-5 P&P I'm quite happy to PayPal you first or something on trust
You can even send a paypal bill directly to my d000hg gmail address if you want.
