                Tried to update it loads of times after downloading the update. No joy "iPhone activation server is temporarily unavailable". Gave up.

                    Dont believe it, mines all gone pear shaped. Got 3/4 of the way through the update then iTunes threw up an error saying the update had failed.

                    The phone would no longer do anything bar show a picture of a USB plug and iTunes logo when switched on.

                    Just plugged the fecker in and it now says iPhone is in recovery mode and only gives me the restore option warning me all my media and other data will be erased. Superb.
