As much as I'd like to update to Lollipop, I don't want to have to start again on the phone.

It says that they are working on an automated upgrade / update so maybe when that comes along it will be possible without needing to wipe and restart.

In the UK, you need to be on EE or three - and three's 4g will be flaky.

Anything else won't do it because the phone isn't capable of supporting band 20 (IIRC) which is what everyone else uses.

Thanks. I got my OPO on Friday and have been disappointed that Vodafone aren't actually using band 7 although their website says they do. After a number of calls to Vodafone they have confirmed that they plan to use 2600mhz by the end of the year. My contract with Vodafone expires next month so will look into moving to EE.
