Just to slightly hijack this thread.....
A gig I am looking at insists on having the APM (level C/D) qualification. I am already prince 2 qualified and have seen that there is a course for Prince 2 holders to get the APM qualification.
Has anyone here done that course? and if so what does it...
But in my case I have no other family to worry about
'stek
Jamaica has income tax and taxes you on your world wide income....'
It's not working for a Jamaica company... Its to the UK government out there and being paid to a UK account
After much deliberation and consultation with the wife (and the contract company), I have decided to go with the contract as they have offered 3 years if I want it!.
It's not Saudi - It's Jamaica! and the wife will be able to join me next year.
When I do the maths (bearing in mind that I will...
Good question... just going thro the pro's and con's of each offer out loud really as I'm not sure which way to jump... I have been contracting for 14 years and going back to permie would be quite a shock, but this day and age with contracts in short supply (at least in my field) it might be the...

Last week I got 2 offers on the same day!
One 12 month rolling contract - Tax free - living abroad - accommodation provided - bills paid - 1 free flight a year. BUT the mrs wouldn't be able to join me until later on...
My 1T USB3 (western digital) external hard drive stopped being recognised by my laptop a little while ago.
I have tried downloading several 'fix' softwares, but to no effect.
If I change the OS to linux then it 'sees' the HD, but still cannot access it.
I think perhaps the boot sector of the...
The contract is finishing next year, so I will be returning to the UK then. I have retained my UK address as this contract was only going to be for 12-18 months.
The work I do is outside of the IR35 remit, so no problem there
Not sure about the P85 form tho??!!
Wasn't sure that the tax...
I am actually working for the UK government here, so it is not for an African based company... just to throw another stone in.. so I am not liable for tax in Africa.
Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone knew what the tax implications were for this scenario... I am a UK Ltd. company, working for a UK agency, but working full time in Africa. I have a UK residence, but am only there for about 10 weeks of the year.
I get paid a mixture of set monthly wages (plus...
