Did he half turn and keep his paper on your head or something...still cannot picture it properly.
He had his back to the doors, I was standing side on to him, with my right side facing him. He was very tall indeed.
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

Aah, both were standing. Making sense now. If you were as tall as him he would be resting the paper on your Boobs, I guess ?

In any case, I am guessing, he was so engrossed on reading the "romance on the tube" section that he didnt realise he was trespassing.

If I was as tall as him I'd have punched him in the face.

In fairness though, he was only reading the paper on your head, not filling in the crossword.

Seems reasonable to me, even good manners, that short people should help out us taller types by giving us somewhere to rest things, especially when forced to stand in close quarters.

Plus he was making more efficient use of the limited space available, and that improves over-crowding as well as saving money.

                    So I applaud him.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.
