You know the bit below that said "Sorry if..." that was to prevent the patronising feeling; I could have worded it better, but just couldn't be arsed. -

That's actually a double edged sword - I was ooop North last weekend and popping into the local shop meant engaging in small talk rather than the more efficient silent get, pay & leave approach common in the Sarf. Not saying it's bad - but if you're in a hurry its not that good eitherOriginally posted by RasputinDude View PostI moved up here about twenty years ago, and the friendliness of the people is one of the reasons that I stayed. How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't thinkComment

Flew over your head that, didn't it?Originally posted by Old Hack View PostSo beating the criminals by being criminals.
Novel approach to cleaning up the city.
Never understood the intelligence of folk who say tulip like this; 'yeah, lets fookin kill all the criminals then the place will be safe'.
Madness
Think back to what happened after Mark Duggan was shot.

Well there was the incident of the Indian student being shot in head at point blank range. From what I recall the chap was caught and said it was just pure fun for him.Vote Corbyn ! Save this country !Comment

Makes perfect sense. Big tough johnny big potatoes wants to kill a couple of big tough johnny big potatoes coppers, unfortunately a couple of birds turn up instead, he carries on with his plan and big tough johnny big potatoes has killed two young girls. Hooray! He's a tough mother****er isn't he.Originally posted by Old Hack View PostAfter a detour through Swinton, Worsley, Wigan and St Helens for a few starters. tulip place, hate it here, to be frank, and were it not for a chest full of dosh would be down south where it's much nicer.
Quote away, it's what I believe. There's something odd about a bloke being in hiding for ages, then lulling two policewomen in to kill them, then handing himself in. Could have done much better by walking into a police station, shooting a few of them, and chucking a hand grenade inside and then putting his hands up.
Something doesn't add up.
Killing coppers is one thing, knocking women around quite another. What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment

Mostly by crims, and ne'er do wells.
I am not convinced you meant this...Comment
