Can you back that up with evidence? And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014 -
Have you really just compared a bacon sandwich to rape?Originally posted by russell View PostThey were also bashing women over the head and raping them, I assume you think we should still be doing that? While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. Well the point you are missing is that man needs meat. You don't eat meat you get ill.Originally posted by russell View PostThey were also bashing women over the head and raping them, I assume you think we should still be doing that?
Well of course you can have supplements, but a vegan diet isn't natural. I think you are going to find that out in a few months time. You'll probably find you're farting excessively and suffering permanent indigestion, but go ahead.Last edited by BlasterBates; 12 June 2012, 09:09.I'm alright JackComment

I like how you start out saying we're 'supposed' to be vegan based on our evolutionary history, then say our evolutionary history is no excuse.Originally posted by russell View PostThey were also bashing women over the head and raping them, I assume you think we should still be doing that?
Apart from true herbivores who can't digest meat, everything eats meat in some form because animals will eat whatever then can get sustenance from. Man clearly would have eaten things like eggs, grubs, fish and milk even if they didn't hunt... which they did.
And you don't even need to be able to hunt to eat meat. Many animals scavenge dead meat without ever killing anything.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Some tribes in Southern Africa have such a good insight into the psychology of big cats that they're able, in a group, to scare off a lion who's made a kill and steal the prey. I can't remember which tribe but I think it may be the San.Originally posted by d000hg View PostI like how you start out saying we're 'supposed' to be vegan based on our evolutionary history, then say our evolutionary history is no excuse.

I'm sure you mean the 'Dont fack with me san' tribe. Moved there from saaff laaandan taan due to housing costs being deemed too expensive in the early 70's. Another failed Labour policy.Originally posted by Mich the Tester View PostSome tribes in Southern Africa have such a good insight into the psychology of big cats that they're able, in a group, to scare off a lion who's made a kill and steal the prey. My understanding is that (wild) lions retreat from a kill when humans appear; even kids carrying sticks can chase them off. Tame (i.e. captive) ones would probably just eat you though.Originally posted by Mich the Tester View PostSome tribes in Southern Africa have such a good insight into the psychology of big cats that they're able, in a group, to scare off a lion who's made a kill and steal the prey.
