The boy brought one home and I cannot get any of three Micro-USB leads into the socket. Naive question - there's only one size of Micro USB - right? The hole seems just half a mm too small in all dimensions.

There's mini-USB and the smaller micro-USB

Power supply bought from Amazon for a fiver as RS had sold out their stock at twice the price, check eBay for compatible devices..

Don't buy micro USB cables from pound shops or wherever.

Either micro usb phone charger or kindle lead.

I bought 3 really cheap ones from ASDA and they've been fantastic. I think they were about £2 each and a decent length too

Yeah, bought various cables from ASDA and no probs. El Cheapo brand pound shop items can be hit or miss.

Never buy cables from PC World (or anything else for that matter), unless you don't mind setting fire to paper currency, same thing.

One (Dewey) is powered via the USB port on the BT Home Hub.

The other (Huey) is powered via a USB hub.

Both are accessible to the outside world via No-IP as BT won't let domestic customers have a static IP address - f*ckers!

Haven't tried emaulating since I have a device to play with. I also bought one of these and replaced Android with Ubuntu, very cool wee device.
