It will be interesting to see if it breaks $1800 before the NY session and the Bernanke. I'd like to see $1800 acting as support prior and lock in profits at about $1780ish - maybe a few $ below around 1777

Go on gold bulls - puuuuush!!

How many people already know what Bernanke is going to say I wonder? Or the figures he's about to reveal.

I've got final draft of his speech in front of me.

Executive summary is: blah blah blah.

Thanks, I suspected as much. Second question, how come 'banker' is in his name? The remaining two letters 'ne' are phonetically "any"

Place your bets on where gold is going to go. Spiked initially after speech, now seems to be heading south.

Edit: Technical analysis would be acceptable in place of guesswork too

Looks a bit confused - it's like the market doesn't buy what Bernanke's saying..

Was going up as people took a punt on what he was going to say, expecting it to be dire and drive the price up. It wasn't and now they are getting out again.

                    Wholeheartedly agree

I really want to see a break of $1800

Might day trade it on Monday

Gold is looking like a lost sheep at the moment. Maybe waiting for some proper news.
