I got back in again at 1775 after the speech but put a profit target of 1790 after it started ranging betweeb support and resistance

Not showing off - just want people to see how easy this can be and how those dildos in the city and some on this forum can keep naysaying as much as they want while others will just get on and make money.

How much money did you put in? It's easy to play this game with small cash, you can't shift marked, but anybody who puts billions in it will shift the market. People in the city get paid so much because they can exloit it, where as you just made a few quid because you got lucky. In a long run you'll lose.

Why not show it with virtual money here? Presumably the software you use isn't free, otherwise I might have a go using fictional money. I'm more inclined to believe short term analysis based on nothing but historic prices will end up losing money over time, but don't believe it's impossible to win in a generally rising market, together with making use of market psychology and reacting to unfolding events (e.g. major economic speeches, news on oil wars, etc). Not convinced you could beat just leaving a pot to increase over the long term under those same conditions though.

Can do with a demo account - the software is metatrader 4 and free from my broker

I just look for support/resistance levels and trade between them. It's a very simple technical strategy. Look at any chart on any timeframe for any instrument and you'll see levels that price reacts to.
