I suppose you may get a run of luck over the year. Or you may not.Hard Brexit now!

Anyway it's been interesting chatting on here, today.
Very interesting psychologically how people can convince themselves of all sorts of nonsense.
Perhaps the West deserves to decline since it is reverting back to mystical, pre-Renaissance, non-Enlightenment times.Hard Brexit now!

Hmm, it's risen £1200/kg in a few hours. At this rate it'll soon be too expensive to get back on the gold train.Comment

In again
I entered due to a nice big green candle and push above the 61.8 fibo level. The reaction to 1700 is looking quite solid... However there's Bernanke, option exirations and a bank holiday coming up so I'll watch this one closely and might knock it on the head at at around 1780 - 1800 depending on mementum.

The 1 hour chart shows how price reacts to certain levels like fibonnaci retracements and psychological round numbers. I wonder if we'll see a reverse head and shoulders pattern with the right shoulder bouncing off the 61.8 Fib retracement...

I'm going to wait and see, not least for the Bernanke speech, and will likely remain almost goldless over the weekend too, and let inflation and monetary debasement rip through my cash for a few days.Originally posted by Jog On View PostI entered due to a nice big green candle and push above the 61.8 fibo level. Very wise - if this isn't doing much by the time I go to bed tonight I might knock it on the head.Originally posted by TimberWolf View PostI'm going to wait and see, not least for the Bernanke speech, and will likely remain almost goldless over the weekend too, and let inflation and monetary debasement rip through my cash for a few days."Is someone you don't like allowed to say something you don't like?
