Jazz

I got told to get Steely Dan off the stereo tonight.

I'm not allowed to listen to Deacon Blues by someone who likes Deacon Blues.

My Dan's gawn off and left me,
The stereo's set to down
My woman's givin' me earache
An' I can't get into town.

The bedwetters have dried up
They left me black pudding bruised
That's right, I'm sad, I'm mad, I'm bad
I've got the Deacon Blues Blues.

And that's Jazz!

It provides a technically intricate but soulless form of music. This allows emotional cripples who think they're clever to feel a sense of cultural belonging.

Th meter is all over the shop

Jazz always makes me think of Sean's Show on C4, where every time the phone would ring he would turn on some jazz so he could answer the phone with "hang on a second, I have to turn down the jazz".:winker:

Youtube has the whole episodes, but can't find a clip.
