Two important points that the American Right haven't yet managed to take on board:

1. It's not at Ground Zero;
2. It isn't a mosque.

Well no, it's not strictly speaking at Ground Zero (i.e. point of impact), but it is still a building that was put out of action by a stray bit of aeroplane on 11/09/2001. Technical win for the liberals.
OK, so the building will not be a mosque but it will "house a mosque". So there will be a mosque but the mosque will not be "it". Might have to award that one to the conservatives.
I think once again the right is getting the interpretation wrong but the left has decided to deny the facts instead.

I actually think the New Yorkers have acted fairly well up till now, if there was 3000 people killed in any of the major capitals of Europe and they tried to build a mosque 200 yards away from the site there would have been riots and murders by now.

1. his father was a Kenyan Muslim
2. his middle name is Hussein, which sound more Muslim to me than Rupert or Gordon
3. the fact that that he was born to a line of Muslim males makes him born a Muslim, like once a Jew always a Jew
4. Obama's conversion to another faith, in short, makes him a murtadd, or apostate. Apostasy in Islam entails the death penalty as Muslims have NO RIGHT TO CHANGE RELIGION

So, the fact that only 20pc of Americans think he's a Muslim is surprising. Giving the facts, I would have expected higher figures.
