CUK is full of clever folk, but I doubt if many of them are medically qualified.
I would go and see your doctor. They may not necessarily hand out pills, they may surprise you and actually try and get to the root of the problem.I'm sorry, but I'll make no apologies for this

Mrs BP has regular insomnia. Of course I get the blame as she claims its lack of sex.Comment

Been months for me since I had what could be describe as a good nights sleep. 4.12am for me. It doesn't help that when I booked into this hotel on Thursday afternoon I was beginning to feel unwell. I went to bed at 5pm Thursday and I've literally only just woken up properly now, 36 hours later. I've had the sweats for 36 hours, a headache for the same time(had about 18 tablets) only been able to keep my eyes open for 20/30 minutes at a time and on Friday morning thought I was going to have a heart attack my heart rate was beating so fast and I developed chest pains.
Not sure if some kind of viral infection of exhaustion caused by lack of sleep the previous two weeks. Mare! What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment

Changing time zones every two weeks isn't going to help with sleep patterns. But sounds like you're fluey - I don't think lack of sleep would cause sweats and palpitations.Comment

The vast majority seem to reach for the prescription pad as soon as you walk in the door.Comment
