I'm stuck in Berlin at the moment. I wasn't planning on going back to the UK until the end of the month but I'm seriously thinking about booking flights and train tickets as insurance in case this goes on for much longer.Comment

I am supposed to be on a Red Sea Cruise at the moment. I had shifted all sorts of critical work for my client around this holiday. We left for the airport on Thurs. morning..and on the way there was blurb on the radio about airports delaying/cancelling flights. When we got there our flight operator - Thomson - told us to check in normally and wait. After 7 hours we were told to go home and come back tomorrow (Friday). Of course we didn't go back. And on Saturday Thomson gave our money back - nice one. Parking company hasn't returned funds - par for the course with parking companies.
