But you could argue that the term Sun applies to Our Solar System then when you get beoyond Pluto then the Suns Rays will become starlight.

Is that so, or would you have to go farther? Perhaps beyond the Kuiper belt or the Oort Cloud? Even at these distances, wouldn't the sun still be the largest visible star? Perhaps there's a point where the sun's light would no longer form the majority of light arriving at your intergalactic exploration pod, and that point would be where the sun's rays become simply anonymous starlight.

Isn't the edge of our solar system defined as the point of termination shock? Approx 8 billion miles from earth. I would say that is the point where the Sun becomes a star.
