Working 20 minutes from home. Decent-ish rate. Extended to July 09 recently. Phase 2 of job, if it is given go ahead in July/August, will run for ~2 years. Mortgage will be paid off 25th January.

Smug? Nah.................

New gig close to home with slight increase & turned down other offer. All done over Xmas with just phone interview.

Oh, and mortgage paid off 5 yrs ago. Beautiful family etc. etc.

I've done it now - something seriously tulip is on its way....
