"Beware of murders and annoying, poncy, Belgian detectives."

This statement is only true if the murderer IS the detective. If he is not then the murderer need only beware the detective and everybody else beware the murderer (including the detective)

Is it beware or beware of?
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

    I preferred version 1!

I dont know - I think £5k on champagne and porn would be quite special

If thats what you want to do, then just go for it man! I worked with a lad in Machester who put me off th eidea a while back. he was a very anal DBA and he did it once every 2 years. He loved it. He also wore cardigans, and had very obvious Asbergers.
But he did love it. I'm not sure how he did it on a permie salary like, come to think of it!

You can get amazing train rides in America you know, which are really cheap! They have proper 1st class cabins and butlers and stuff, for a fraction of the price. If it's that kind of experience you want. You'd probably pay about £500 max for a week long 1st class trip! And the sceneray on the route up to Canada is meant to be quite something.

But if you just want to say you've been onhe Orient Express...well thats what you're going to have to do, whatever the cost.
        The pope is a tard.

For scenery I'd look into the Canadian thing, I think there is a cross rockies touristy train line. I roughed it around the States on a cheapo train pass and large chunks of it are a bit flat and uninspiring especially across the top end of the country, atleast on the line I travelled on anyway. As you cross the border into Canada the change in scenery can be quite dramatic.

Now Niagara Falls really is a tulipehole. The falls themselves are an amazing natural sight but the town (both sides) makes Blackpool look classy.
